FILMS by two former students from Lytchett Minster School are being screened at a national festival today.
BTEC Media students Rachel Pilley and Jon Bridges will have their work shown at the Young Film Maker’s festival at the National Film and Media Museum in Bradford.
Rachel’s submission is an animation synchronised to the beats of an original track by a Dorset musician, while Jon’s production is a video installation with three screens offering multiple points of view on a “day in the life”. Both were screened at the iBALL event at the school’s Gainsford Theatre in July, as part of the annual Lytchett Arts Festival.
Jon and Rachel are now studying at Sussex and Winchester universities respectively.
