A CHAMPAGNE reception to raise money for the Dorset branch of the St John Ambulance has been held at an East Dorset manor house.
The Friends of St John Dorset held their event at Crichel House in Moor Crichel in a bid to sign up supporters prepared to make a regular donation to the volunteer paramedic service.
Guests at the posh reception were given the chance to win a new Renault Clio by supporters Westover Group.
A spokesman for Dorset St John said the county had a thriving youth section of over 300 Badger and Cadet volunteers.
