THE TEENAGE schoolboy who was rushed to hospital with life-threatening head injuries following a collision with a bus is off the danger list, doctors say.
Carter Community School pupil Michael Baxter, aged 14, is currently in a stable condition, making good progress, at Southampton General Hospital.
The Hamworthy teen was rushed to the hospital’s paediatric intensive care unit after colliding with the single-decker Wilts and Dorset bus in Blandford Road, Hamworthy, Poole, on Tuesday (Sept 27) at 5pm.
He suffered a fractured skull in the collision, was unconscious at the scene, and his condition until today was categorised as life-threatening but stable.
Police are still eager to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who saw Michael or the bus in the moments before the incident.
Call Dorset Police on 01202 222 222.
