A RINGWOOD-based day service for adults with learning disabilities has been praised for its high standard of training and nominated for a national awards ceremony.
The Stables Family Home Trust is a charity which provides services for around 22 adults with learning disabilities – including on-site activities and community contact.
Learndirect nominated the charity for its commitment to providing IT training and received a cheque for £250.
A spokesperson said: “We were absolutely thrilled to be nominated the South West regional finalist in the small/medium-sized company category and received a trophy and a cheque.
“Winning the regional award means we are automatically entered for the national awards ceremony at the Park Plaza Hotel London in October.”
