Highcliffe scouts are holding an open day next month, inviting previous members of the troop to join them as they celebrate their centenary.
The 5th Christchurch troop have recently managed to raise £10,000 through donations and fundraising to begin the updating of their hut and to coincide with the centenary of the first scout troop being established in Highcliffe.
The open day will take place on Saturday October 10 at the scout hut in Chewton Common Road.
