DETECTIVES investigating a violent attack which left a teenager with a broken jaw have appealed for help in tracing these men.

An 18-year-old from Corfe Mullen suffered horrific injuries after being punched in the face by two men as he stood outside Yates’ Wine Lodge in Bournemouth.

The attack took place in the early hours of Sunday, April 12, but police have only just released the CCTV images in the hope of finding those responsible.

After punching the victim, the offenders ran away from the Dean Park Crescent pub and across Horseshoe Common, said police.

The attackers are described as white, between 20 and 30 years old and wearing dark clothing. They were with two women at the time of the offence, at around 1am.

“Following further inquiries I am now able to release CCTV images of men that I would like to speak with,” said DC Sadie Plewka of Bournemouth and Poole CID.

“I would urge those pictured – and anyone who recognises them – to contact me, in confidence, as soon as possible.

“It could be that any one of the people pictured will have information that will help me to find out exactly what happened.”

DC Plewka said there were a lot of people in the area at the time and urged witnesses to come forward.
