In association with Dorset Music Forum, Adam Ficek, the drummer of Babyshambles, will be providing an open forum session at the forthcoming June Insights event. Ficek will be available for an informal question and answer session, whilst passing on his valuable knowledge and experience from his career in music so far.

Adam joined the Pete Doherty fronted Babyshambles in 2005 and during this time sees a number of highs, lows, musical hits and media attention. Prior to 2005, Adam had recorded with the Mains Ignition, The White Sport and has also contributed to two jazz albums, as well as teaching children in schools to play drums.

Having worked within diverse musical genres and a variety of groups and individuals over the years, Adam’s broad experience of the music industry ranges from a grassroots level musician aiming for organic growth, to a nationally known and commercially successful band. This familiarity with different aspects of music facilitates his well-informed opinions and ensures first-hand experience can be relayed back to the audiences questioning him. Now also experienced in launching a solo career, Adam will be speaking at the Dorset Music Forum headquarters in Boscombe on 12th June and as always, there are limited seats so buying tickets early is advised.

Join the Dorset Music Forum team 4pm til 6pm then head on to The Winchester to see Adam perform live supported by the SuperNovas, The Suzy Blues, Kentucky Fight Club & the awesome Darlings Divine.
