THE Dorset coast has again scooped awards for cleanliness.
Keep Britain Tidy awarded Blue Flags to beaches at Sandbanks, Shore Road, Canford Cliffs, Branksome Chine, Alum Chine, Durley Chine, Fisherman’s Walk and Southbourne.
The Quality Coast Award recognises clean beaches where the water standards do not reach the exacting Blue Flag standards. These again went to Bournemouth Pier and Swanage Central and new entry, Friar’s Cliff.
