AROUND 40 people turned up at a Bournemouth hotel to hear advice on suicide from euthanasia campaigner Dr Philip Nitschke – dubbed “Dr Death”.
Visitors to the event at Hamilton Hall in Boscombe were outnumbered by newspaper and TV journalists covering his first workshop in the UK.
Mr Nitschke defended his decision to visit the town and told his audience that “a peaceful death is everybody’s right”.
