A KNIGHT in armour was airlifted to hospital when he fell from his horse at Lulworth Castle and suffered neck and back pains.
The 43-year-old man was dressed in full armour and performing in a jousting display when he fell on Sunday lunchtime, a spokesman for South Western Ambulance Service said.
Spokesman James Ryan said: “Our motorcycle paramedic Simon Capes attended. The man fell from a horse while jousting but given the height of the horse and the fact he was wearing full armour, it was quite a heavy fall. He was complaining of neck and back pains and was treated by first aiders on the scene.”
