IS this the most generous Buy One Get One Free offer ever?

The owner of a house near Blandford is offering to throw in a luxury £40,000 Ferrari or Bentley with the sale of his four-bed home.

Mick Gibbs decided to “spice up” the ailing property market with the offer of this unusual “sweetener” in the sale of this £475,000 home at West End, Spetisbury.

Unsurprisingly, after just two weeks on the market he’s already getting plenty of interest.

He told the Echo he was inspired after hearing about a vendor who offered a similar deal in Sandbanks a few years earlier.

Mick, 40, began property developing following his retirement after 22 years as a musician with the Royal Signals, and has a number of properties in the area.

The father-of-two picked up this house, Owlwood, last year and has transformed it – including building a double garage for the prospective owner’s new car – either a 1998 Ferrari 550 Maranello or 1999 Bentley Arnage.

He added: “It’s a really nice sweetener. If you didn’t mind the hassle you could even buy the house then sell the Ferrari for £40,000.

“It’s one hell of a cash back – that’s almost 10 per cent of the house.”

Mick says he has got the super cars “out of his system”, but also has a BMW 5 series and a super- charged Range Rover so he won’t be short of motors.

The property is being marketed with Vivien Horder estate agents, and there is an open day today from 10am to 4pm.
