CONSTRUCTION work on Europe's first artificial surf reef will resume at the end of April, contractors have confirmed.
And work should be completed by August, Andy Campbell, commercial director of New Zealand based ASR announced today (Thurs).
Mr Campbell told the Daily Echo: "We have been very surprised and concerned by the criticism over delays to the project.
"Our reputation is on the line here and we are not going to do anything that would put that at risk."
