A rare Cadbury chocolate bar has returned to UK shelves after months away.

The Cadbury Twirl Crispy Wafer, a bar originally from Australia, has been spotted in B&M stores.

The bar features two fingers of flaky chocolate swirls and curls, layered with crispy wafer and coated in Cadbury Dairy Milk milk chocolate.

The Twirl Crispy Wafer is still sold in Australia, and B&M has imported the 40g and 150g packs from the country.

It was first released in June 2025 but remains uncommon in the UK.

The bar followed the earlier Twirl Breakaway style variant, effectively acting as a modern reimagining of the classic Cadbury Time Out style bar.

Its return to UK supermarket shelves was shared by the New Food Spotters UK social media page.

One person replied: "Hungry now."

Another said: "That's what Timeout used to be like."

It is not the only rare Cadbury treat that has returned to shelves in the UK.

Astros, space-themed chocolate and candy balls with a biscuit centre, are also available at B&M stores.

The popular chocolate brand first launched the treat in the UK in 1997 as a competitor to Smarties and M&Ms.

They were discontinued in 2008, but are back in the UK and are exciting shoppers.

The Cadbury Dairy Milk Winter Mint Crisp bar is also back in UK supermarkets for the festive period.

The 350g bar, which combines classic Dairy Milk chocolate with crunchy mint pieces.

Other rare Cadbury chocolate spotted in supermarkets include the Dairy Milk PB&J flavour, Cadbury's mint-flavoured Twirl, and the Cadbury Dream white chocolate bar.

Cadbury launched Dream White Chocolate bars in the UK back in 2001.

However, the popular chocolate was discontinued just a year later (in 2002), with Cadbury citing the changing tastes of customers as the reason for its decision.

Cadbury's Dream chocolate has made several appearances on UK shelves in recent years.

But it is now back again at B&M for £2.99, having been imported from Australia.

Rare Walkers crisps flavours back in UK supermarkets

In other food news, rare Walkers crisps have returned to supermarket shelves in the UK, with one flavour back for the first time in five years.

The crisp brand has reintroduced its Roast Potatoes, Pigs in Blankets and Sensations Honey Glazed Roast Ham flavours as part of its 2026 Christmas range.

The Roast Potatoes flavour last appeared on shelves for Christmas in 2021, with the Pigs in Blankets flavour not being seen since 2023.

All the festive crisps are wrapped in limited-edition Christmas packaging.
