A number of public footpaths and bridleways in Poole will be introduced from the end of July.

The order, confirmed on June 3, 2026, covers areas including Parkstone, Branksome and Alderney.

New paths include footpaths in Arne Avenue, Melbury Avenue, Bridport Road and Aspen Way Public Open Space, as well as routes in Lodge Close, Buckingham Road and Fortescue Road.

Several bridleways have also been added, including links between Uppleby Road and Upper Road, Haskells Road and Haskells Recreation Ground car park, and Rossmore Road and Herbert Avenue.

The new footpaths and bridleways will come into force on July 30, 2026.

Anyone wishing to challenge the order has until July 29, 2026 to apply to the High Court.
