The president of Westbourne Rotary Club has been honoured with a volunteer award.
Gordon Lewis received the prestigious Dorset Cancer Care Foundation Volunteer Award at a special celebration evening at Merley House.
He was one of nine volunteers to be recognised for his dedication to supporting the foundation throughout the past year.

Mr Lewis also chose the organisation as one of the two charities to support during his presidential year at Westbourne Rotary.
He volunteered at numerous events and helped raise awareness and support for the charity's work across Dorset.
The awards evening celebrated the contribution of volunteers who help charitable organisations continue providing essential services.
Each award recipient received a framed certificate, a bottle of Prosecco and a restaurant voucher.
Guests enjoyed a buffet, a commemorative foundation pin badge and a boxed cupcake to take home.
The evening featured two performances by the Dorset Cancer Care Foundation Choir.
Jeff Mostyn, patron of Dorset Cancer Care Foundation, presented the awards and praised the dedication of the volunteers.
Mr Lewis expressed his honour at receiving the award and thanked foundation for its support.
Westbourne Rotary Club congratulated Mr Lewis on the award, highlighting his passion for supporting local charities.
The club plans to continue its partnership with Dorset Cancer Care Foundation.
