PARALYMPIC medallists and Grand Slam champions will headline the 2026 Lexus British Open Roehampton.

Among those set to compete in this year’s LTA wheelchair tennis showcase is British No.1 Lucy Shuker, who will be joined by fellow Brit Cornelia Oosthuizen in the women’s singles and doubles events.

The tournament will be held at the Wimbledon Qualifying and Community Sports Centre from June 28 to July 3.

Kirsty Thomson, LTA Tournament Director, said: "In this 50th anniversary year for wheelchair tennis, it’s fantastic to also be able to celebrate our strongest entry for the Lexus British Open Roehampton.

"The tournament provides a unique experience for tennis fans, who are able to watch the very best wheelchair tennis players in the world alongside some of the rising stars on the international junior tennis scene.

"This year we are delighted to also be able to enhance the experience for fans, with our Fan Day on Sunday, June 28. Anyone can get on court and try wheelchair tennis for themselves, with guidance from experienced coaches, as well as enjoying a host of other fun activities alongside watching the live tournament action underway in our junior draws.”

The event is one of six elite WC1000 competitions on the ITF’s 2026 UNIQLO Wheelchair Tennis Tour and represents the highest level of international wheelchair tennis in Britain outside of Wimbledon.
