"This exciting new programme opens up the best winter sun hotspots to local holidaymakers and, as always, we have designed it in direct response to the demand for our award-winning flights and holidays so we know how popular it will be."

According to the airline and tour operator, during peak periods, Jet2 will operate 11 weekly outbound flights, with up to two weekly services to Tenerife, Lanzarote, and Alicante, and weekly services to all other destinations.

Steve Gill, managing director of Bournemouth Airport, said: "We’re delighted to see Jet2 putting its winter 2027/28 programme on sale so early from Bournemouth Airport.

"Holidaymakers are increasingly looking to plan ahead and secure the best value, so having such a fantastic range of winter sun destinations available to book now is great news for our passengers.

"It’s another vote of confidence in the south coast’s most popular holiday gateway."
