A FORMER Arsenal footballer delighted guests with stories from his playing days when he appeared at a recent sporting lunch.
Ray Parlour appeared at a sporting lunch hosted by Dorset Sporting Clubs at Rick Stein’s Sandbanks restaurant in Poole.

Ray, who made 466 appearances for Arsenal in midfield, spoke about life on and off the pitch, and the changing face of the modern game.
The event was sponsored by Ellis Jones Solicitors and supported by Julius Baer International Limited.

Ray was joined at the top table by Dorset Sporting Clubs organiser Kyran Bracken and Nigel.
Following his time at Arsenal, Ray played for Middlesborough and Hull City before retiring.
Past speakers at the Dorset Sporting Clubs lunches have included England rugby world cup winner Lawrence Dallaglio, cricketer Phil Tufnell and former commentator Henry Blofeld.
