Frank Sinatra classics brought back old memories for residents at a Dorset care home.

Singer Scott, known as the Swinging Sinatra, performed a selection of songs at Hyacinth House Care Home in Wimborne, including Strangers in the Night and My Way.

Kamila Gagala, general manager at Hyacinth House, said: "Our residents and guests had a wonderful day singing along with the wonderful Scott.

"We do our best to provide a wide range of activities and entertainment at Hyacinth House as part of the lifestyle enrichment programme for residents, and this was one of our favourites."

Residents joined in with singing and clapping, and some guests even took to the floor to dance during the afternoon show.

The care home's hospitality team laid on a spread of sweet and savoury treats for guests to enjoy during the show.

The resident said: "I haven’t heard some of these songs in many years.

"The classics never go out of style."

Hyacinth House care home is operated by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers.

The home offers residential care for 32 residents, including both respite care and longer-term stays.
