THE Liberal Democrat party conference is coming to Bournemouth next week.

Every year parties hold a conference to rally support, promote policies, raise funds and set their political agendas.

This year Liberal Democrat conference is being held at the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) from September 20 to September 23.

Events start at 9am each day and finish at 6pm with fringe and business events outside of these hours.

Saturday, September 20:

9am to 9.10am – Conference opening, opening by Vikki Slade MP for Mid Dorset and North Poole and Millie Earl Leader of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council.

10.30am to 10.45am – Speech from Jane Dodds MS, Leader of Welsh Liberal Democrats

12.35pm to 12.50pm – Speech from Lisa Smart MP, Spokesperson for Home Affairs and Women and Equalities

6.30pm to 7.30pm – Conference rally

Sunday, September 21:

11.05am to 11.20am – Speech from Daisy Cooper MP, Deputy Leader of Liberal Democrats and Spokesperson for the Treasury

2.10pm to 2.25pm – Speech from Alex Cole-Hamilton MSP, Leader of the Scottish Liberal Democrats

2.25pm to 3.15pm – Question and answer session with Ed Davey MP, Leader of the Liberal Democrats

Monday, September 22:

11.05am to 11.20am – Speech from Victoria Collins MP, Spokesperson for Science, Innovation and Technology

2.40pm to 2.55pm – Speech from Calum Miller MP, Spokesperson for Foreign Affairs

2.55pm to 3.40pm – Question and answer session with ReformWatch

Tuesday, September 23:

2.20pm to 3.30pm – Leader Speech

3.30pm – Close of conference
