RUMOUR has it rock legend Lenny Kravitz, who is celebrating his 20th year in the industry, is about to make Sandbanks his UK base.
The 44-year-old Grammy award winner is apparently looking for a place to "Fly Away" to far from the hustle and bustle of city life.
New York-born Kravitz - who boasts worldwide album sales of more than 33 million records - is due to visit Dorset ahead of his June 30 show at Southampton Guildhall, a source close to the singer said.
The source added: "He's taking some time out before going to Southampton to go to Sandbanks.
"Lenny wants just a nice pad where he can get some recording done. He's going to take some time and have a look around the area.
"He's taken a look around before, that's how he knows the area.
"He's set aside some time so he can take a look at some properties because it's an area he really likes and there are some beautiful houses.
"Lenny would have a nice comfortable UK base away from town somewhere beautiful.
"He's got beautiful properties all over the world."
Sandbanks - dubbed Millionaires' Row - is home to several famous faces, notably Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp.
Well-known names linked to a property move in the area have included Liam Gallagher, Gordon Ramsay, Robbie Williams and Piers Morgan.
So will Lenny come here? As the man himself once said: "It ain't over til its over..."
