A WANTED man was arrested after police were called to a disturbance.

Officers from Dorset Police responded to a report of a disturbance at 4.35am on Sunday, July 7 in Mallard Road, Bournemouth.

All parties present were spoken to, with no offences reported in relation to the disturbance.

A 19-year-old was then found to be wanted in connection with a reported assault in Bournemouth in April, and he was arrested.

Searches then uncovered quantities of suspected illegal drugs, and he was further arrested on suspicion of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply and possession of class A and B drugs.

An 18-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.

Another 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class B drugs and possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “Dorset Police received a report at 4.35am on Sunday 7 July 2024 of a disturbance at an address in Mallard Road in Bournemouth.

“Officers attended and spoke to all parties present and no offences were reported in relation to the disturbance.

“However, enquiries by officers revealed a 19-year-old man at the address was wanted in connection with a reported assault in Bournemouth on 18 April 2024.

“He was arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent and searches were carried out at the address, which reportedly uncovered quantities of suspected illegal drugs.

“The 19-year-old man was further arrested on suspicion of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply and possession of class A and class B drugs. He was released on police bail.

“An 18-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and possession of class A drugs with intent to supply. An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class B drugs and possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.

“They have both been released under investigation as further enquiries are carried out.”
