POLICE detained and searched a man in Bournemouth after reports of aggressive behaviour and he was in possession of a broken bottle.
First reported at around 5.20 pm on July 3, police detained and searched a man in Poole Hill after a report of a man behaving aggressively in Bourne Avenue in possession of a broken bottle.
Dorset Police said no arrests have been made following searches.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "At 5.18pm on Wednesday 3 July 2024, we received a report of a man behaving aggressively in Bourne Avenue in Bournemouth.
"Officers attended and following searches, a man was later detained for a search in Poole Hill. No arrests were made.
"It was the man who was searched and this was due to reports that he was in possession of a broken bottle. Nothing was found on his person."
The Daily Echo has approached Dorset Police for further comment.
