A 37-YEAR-OLD remains on police bail five months after a woman was ‘stabbed’ in the neck outside a pub.
The Churchill in Ashley Road, at the junction with Churchill Road in Parkstone, Poole, was the scene of an 'assault' at around 11.30pm on March 1.
The victim, in her 20s, suffered a stab wound on her neck, according to police, and was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Meanwhile, the 37-year-old woman on police bail, who is from Poole, was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.
Witnesses reported seeing around eight police cars and ambulances attend the incident and remained for some hours afterwards.
Greene King, the operators of the pub on the corner of Churchill Road, confirmed the incident happened outside the premises.
Providing an update, a Dorset Police spokesman said enquiries are still continuing.
