I OFTEN wonder if the 76 BCP councillors do not reside in this area but in an alternative universe where no one uses a car to get to work, go shopping, visit friends and relatives and go on holiday.

Do they all use bicycles where they live for these activities?

Have they parking facilities where they live so that people from not in their universe who use cars decide to visit?

There is a lot of sand in this area perhaps they bury their heads in it and ignore the people who vote for them that do use cars.

Perhaps they could give their voters a reason why they continue to grant planning permission to developers to build apartments and houses without parking spaces for cars.

Maybe where they live there are no hills and the sun always shines.

Does anybody who votes for these councillors who are supposed to represent them know that they will be completely ignored?
