A DORSET recycling centre will be temporarily closed for an upgrade to the main building.
Poole Recycling Centre will be closed on the following dates:
• Thursday 13 June 2024
• Friday 14 June 2024
• Tuesday 25 June 2024
The reason behind the closure is for essential building works.
A spokesperson for BCP Council said: “We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but unfortunately a full closure is unavoidable to ensure the safety of staff, visitors and the contractors on site, whilst we upgrade the main site building.”
Residents wanting to dispose of waste are asked to visit Bournemouth Recycling Centre or Christchurch Recycling Centre.
Poole Recycling Centre is open 9am – 5pm seven days a week and is used by residents in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
