A WOMAN was ‘attacked’ in a Sainsbury’s car park. 

The victim was in the supermarket car park in Pitwines Close, Poole, at around 2.30pm on Friday, May 31 when the assault happened. 

Police say she sustained bruising to her face and collar bone as a result of the incident. 

A 22-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman – both from Poole – were arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.  

They have been released on police bail as further enquiries are carried out by officers. 

Police constable Tyler Mcwalter, of Poole police, said: “Our investigation into this incident remains ongoing and I am keen to hear from any witnesses who have not already spoken to police. 

“I would urge anyone with information that might assist our enquiries to please come forward.”
