A MAN was seen jumping over a fence following a burglary in Poole.

Dorset Police received a report at 1.26pm on Saturday, June 1, of an alarm sounding at an address in Herbert Avenue.

It was reported a man was seen jumping over a fence and making off from the scene toward Rossmore Leisure Centre.

He is described as white with dark hair and a beard, and was wearing a woollen jumper and jeans.
