A BOURNEMOUTH teenager has had his “dreams come true” after his dance group secured a spot in the Britain’ Got Talent semi-finals.

Tyler Vandevelde, 16, is a proud member of Phoenix Boys and is celebrating after receiving the golden buzzer in the hit talent show.

The group features talented male dancers from across the UK and were overjoyed when BGT judge, Bruno Tonioli, said the group reminded him of being a young dancer.

“It’s such an honour to be part of Phoenix Boys and getting the golden buzzer was a really emotional time for us all.”

He added: “Dancing is my passion and I’m so grateful for the training that I also receive at Steppin’ Out and LeAF Studio, which has helped give me this amazing opportunity.

“I can’t wait to go live in front of the nation in the semi-finals with my Phoenix team mates.”
