POLICE have released CCTV images of two people they want to identify in relation to the theft of 21 bottles of champagne worth more than £700. 

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary have released CCTV of a man and a woman after champagne valued at £717 was stolen from M&S in St Thomas Street, Lymington, between 12.10pm and 12.20pm on April 30. 

The man has been described as white, aged approximately 45 years, around 5'10in tall with short black hair with a side parting and was wearing a grey T-shirt, black jacket with stripes, blue jeans, and trainers.

The woman has been described as white, aged around 35 years, around 5'10in with long red hair and was wearing glasses with dark rims, a black vest top, and a long beige skirt with a dark pattern. 

A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said: "We believe the man and woman in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge them, or anyone who knows their identity, to get in touch with us.

"Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.
