THE front door of a property in Wimborne was kicked and a window smashed.

At around 12am on Friday, May 17, the occupants of an address in East Borough heard their door being kicked.

A window at the property was then smashed.

Officers attended the scene but did not find the offender after searching the area.

Now, officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with any information to come forward as they investigate this criminal damage in Wimborne.

Police constable Jim Perks, of East Dorset police, said: “This was a very distressing incident for the victims and we are doing all we can to identify who was responsible.

“I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard suspicious activity in the area around the relevant time to please come forward.

“Also, I am keen to hear from anyone who may have captured anything of relevance on either CCTV or dashcam footage.”
