ONE of Christchurch’s biggest events is just days away from returning.

Christchurch Food Festival will return to the Quay this bank holiday weekend.

The annual event showcases the town’s very best produce, and brings together food enthusiasts from far and wide.

It has been running in Christchurch for more than 20 years, and attracts around 60,000 visitors annually.

Visitors can enjoy goods from a variety of stalls, which typically includes street food, charcuterie and sweet tweets, as well as drinks from local breweries and distilleries.

One of the highlights of the festival is the chef demonstration theatre, which welcomes both local and national chefs to share their culinary skills.

The event also hosts a whole range of entertainment, including live music and dance on the band stand, a sheep show, and children’s activities.
