THE UKs longest suspended rope bridge has been unveiled at The Blue Pool in Wareham.

The Blue Pool Nature Reserve and Tearooms unveiled the new attraction on the afternoon of Friday, May 24.

Spanning an impressive 50 metres and suspended high amidst the trees, the rope bridge offers panoramic views of The Blue Pool.

Matthew Jones, owner of The Furzebrook Estate, said: “We are thrilled to present this impressive, hand-crafted bridge to our members and visitors alike.

"This exciting new addition offers a fresh ‘tree top’ perspective of The Blue Pool, championing eco-tourism and sustainable outdoor recreation in the region.”

Since opening as a tourist attraction in 1935, The Blue Pool Nature Reserve and Tearooms has captivated visitors with its vibrant turquoise hues and picturesque surroundings.

The unveiling of this extraordinary bridge marks a significant milestone in the site's history.
