A LUCKY man from Dorset has landed a life-changing cash prize and become a millionaire.

The mystery man, known only as Mr G, scooped the £1million prize in the EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker draw at the end of April.

This guarantees to make a millionaire with every draw, but in the special draw on Friday, April 26, 10 people across the country won the seven-figure cash prize in one night.

The Dorset man played a personal selection of random numbers via the National Lottery website to win the prize.

He becomes one of more than eight million players that win each week on the National Lottery’s range of games.

Winners have the opportunity to release their name, remain anonymous or release some details through partial publicity, like Mr G.

Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery, said: “Wow this is wonderful news for Mr. G, who is one of ten lucky EuroMillions players who can now count themselves a million pounds richer thanks to the special Millionaire Maker draw.

“Huge congratulations.”

Players playing any National Lottery game generate £30million each week for National-Lottery funded projects.

More than 685,000 grants supporting projects both big and small have been made across the UK to date.
