THE highly anticipated launch of the 2024 Destination Management Board (DMB) Tourism Awards has taken place in Poole.

Partners, sponsors, previous year’s winners and industry professionals gathered at Nusara Thai Poole on Tuesday, May 14, for an evening of drinks, canapés and networking.

The event marked the official opening of entries for the 2024 awards, with Richard Wade, general manager of Morebus, announcing the company’s continued support as the main sponsor for a second consecutive year.

Andy Lennox, chair of the DMB, unveiled the fresh new look and logo for the awards, highlighting the growing unity within the BCP area.

He said: “I am pleased to see more people than ever coming together across BCP for the good of tourism in the area, and the awards are a significant part of this effort."
