A 20-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with drink-driving following a single-vehicle crash. 

Kieran Cover, 20, from Dorking, Surrey, has been charged with drink-driving after being involved in a single-vehicle car crash on May 14 around 5.45pm in Cherries Drive, Bournemouth. 

Police have said there were no reports of any injuries and Cover is due to appear in Poole Magistrates Court on July 25. 

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "We received a report at 5.46pm on Tuesday 14 May 2024 of a single-vehicle collision on Cherries Drive in Bournemouth. There were no reports of any injuries.

"Officers attended and a 20-year-old man from the Dorking area in Surrey was arrested in connection with the incident.

"He was subsequently charged with driving when his alcohol level was above the legal limit and is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 25 July 2024.

"The road was cleared and officers left the scene at around 7pm."
