A MAN was headbutted by a fellow passenger on board a bus in an ‘unprovoked assault’.
The Morebus vehicle was in Alma Road when the victim was assaulted by another man, at around 6.20pm on Thursday, March 14.
The victim, a man from Bournemouth aged in his 50s, sustained bruising.
Now, officers investigating the assault in Bournemouth are releasing CCTV images of a man they would like to identify.
Police constable Sian Maynard, of Bournemouth police, said: “This was an unprovoked assault and I am keen to identify the man responsible.
“My enquiries have continued and I am now issuing images of a man I would like to identify. If you have information about his identity, please get in touch.”
