A WIMBORNE convenience store has been broken into.
Dorset Police received reports of a burglary at Co-op in Crown Mead in Wimborne in the early hours of Friday, May 10, 2024.
It was reported that cash was stolen from the store.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “No arrests have been made, and an investigation is ongoing.”
A spokesperson for Co-op said: “There was an incident at our Wimborne store in the early hours of this morning (Friday, May 10) where intruders broke into the store.
“The store remains temporarily closed to allow Police to investigate and to carry out repairs to the entrance.
“We appeal for anyone who may have seen or heard anything to come forward to Police. The store is expected to reopen later this afternoon to serve the community.”
