AN INQUEST has opened into the death of a woman who was found by her friend in their Poole home.

Christina Jean Boggs, 34, was confirmed dead by emergency services at the scene on February 22.

Assistant coroner for Dorset, Richard Middleton, opened the inquest into his death at Bournemouth Town Hall on April 25.

Coroner’s officer, Philippa Morgan, told Dorset Coroner’s Court that Christina was born in Poole on March 27, 1989.

Ms Morgan added that Christina was single and homeless at the time of her death but was residing at Hotel Capital on West Cliff Road in Bournemouth.

On February 21 Christina went to stay at a friend’s flat on Poole Road in Poole but was sadly found unresponsive the following day.

The ambulance service attended and confirmed Christina as deceased.

Police have confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.

A post-mortem examination conducted by Dr Albadry concluded Christina’s provisional cause of death to be respiratory depression due to a combination of drugs and alcohol.

Mr Middleton adjourned the full inquest into her death until August 13 at 11am.
