A WOMAN has been left devastated after her car was vandalised with thick green paint on a quiet street in Bournemouth

Agnieszka Zakoscielna, 52 and her boyfriend Paul, 66 were staying at an Airbnb in Bournemouth with some friends when someone coated her Volkswagen Tiguan with a sticky green gloss oil-based paint.

The paint has caused irreparable damage to her vehicle, causing concerns that the car may be written off.

Her boyfriend, Paul who was with her at the time said: “My girlfriend came out and saw that somebody had chucked a load of green gloss oil based paint and thrown it all over the car, it could be written off because they can't  take the paint off, there's plastic panels on the bottom, so they can't put any cleaner on it because it can melt the plastic.

"The paint went everywhere.

"It went into the rubbers and the windows, the sunroof, it's terrible."

Now, the couple are desperate for answers after what they have suggested is a targeted attack.

Agnieszka, whose car was targeted, said: "I've never had anything that happened to me before in my whole life, someone has obviously singled us out for some reason.

“It all seems a bit bizarre. I've never had anything that happened to me before in my whole life and i've never had a vehicle vandalised.

“Somebody must have walked very quietly because we have dogs as well and they tend to bark at everything.

“Everybody we spoke to; they said that nothing's ever happened on that road before, it's a nice quiet road that doesn't attract crime.”

Paul added: “She feels like somebody's got some kind of vendetta against her.”

Now, the couple are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward and report it to the police as an investigation begins.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We received a report at around 9am on Thursday 25 April 2024 that damage had been caused to a car in Ferry Road in Bournemouth.

“Enquiries will be carried out into the report.

“No arrests have been made.”
