She said: “It’s fantastic news, it’s absolutely brilliant.

“We pride ourselves on telling the best story to everyone as soon as they walk through the door.

“We’ve been here for 40 years and have a lovely, long-standing, loyal clientele.

Having been selected alongside longstanding salons across the conurbation, Marica said she was ‘really proud’ to find out they made the cut.

Marcia said the secret to a successful salon is ensuring the stylists are well-trained and communicate with their customers.

She said: “All our staff are constantly refreshing their training to keep up with changes and trends, which is really important.”
