POOLE Harbour Festival bosses have promised to take things to the next level at this year’s event by offering something for everyone.

The countdown is on for one of the town’s most popular events on the calendar on Friday, July 26 to Sunday, July 28.

Free children’s entertainment will be available throughout the weekend and will see the return of Jules the Entertainer on Friday and Jamie Jambo on Sunday.

The double Primary Times Reader Star Award winner has magic, comedy, juggling, unicycling and puppetry in his show.

Bournemouth Echo: Poole Harbour Festival has become the party of the year for its small army of family regulars who

Saturday and Sunday will see the return of Amazing Dinosaur Shows for daily high noon appointments with ferocious T-Rexes Bruno and Baxter, Zuki the Stegosaurus, Spike the Spinosaurus and all their prehistoric party starters.

What’s more, the popular free circus shows are back this year.

Festival organiser Ben Dyas said: “The line up attracts thousands of live music fans, but just as important to us are the hundreds of families who rely on us to provide top children’s entertainment – and lots of it – in a safe and secure environment.

“Having an all ages audience adds something really special to the festival’s friendly vibe.

"Families love coming to us because we're local, the site is big enough for everyone to have some space, there's always something going on and the finish times suit everyone's schedule.

“That’s why we’ve grown into one of the best family festivals in the area.”
