DORSET Police has released a list of crimes committed in the regional area that are currently under investigation.

They are urging anyone with information on the incidents to get in touch.

  • A deer was hunted and left in view of the public after a possible poaching incident in the Holt Heath area.

The incident occurred between March 18 and 19.

  • In Alderholt, there have been reports of a man shooting road signs with a catapult outside the St James Church of England First School.

The offender is described as a white male in his early 20s, around 5ft 6 with black hair and beard wearing a camouflage jacket.

  • Work tools were stolen from a work van that was forced open by burglars in Alderholt.

The incident occurred between midnight and 8am on April 1.
