POLICE are appealing for information after a man escaped from prison.
Jay Sharpley, 40 was reported as missing to Suffolk Police on April 13 having absconded from prison.
He is currently serving eight years and eight months for robbery, possession of an imitation firearm with intent, and concern in the supply of class-A drugs.
Jay is described as white, six foot tall, with brown hair and eyes, of medium build. He has a neck tattoo stating 'The strong lead and the weak follow'.

He is known to have links to Bournemouth.
