A BODY has been found in the search for a missing woman.
Police have discovered a body in the search for missing Downton woman, Lynne.
Salisbury Police said while formal identification has not yet taken place, Lynne’s family has been informed of the latest development.
A spokesperson said: “Our thoughts are with them at this extremely difficult time.
“Formal identification will take place in due course.
“Although it is early stages, we do not believe there to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.”
It comes as officers were carrying out an extensive search in the Breamore area on Saturday, April 6.
The search involved the assistance of the drone unit, specialist dogs and water resources.
Lynne was reported missing on March 22.
