ITEMS were stolen by two men from a petrol station before the offenders left the scene in a Mercedes.

It is reported between 1.40am and 2am on Thursday, April 4, various items were stolen by two men from the Shell petrol station in North Street, Bere Regis.

The offenders then left the scene in a black Mercedes E220 in the direction of Wimborne.

Now, officers investigating the theft of items from the petrol station are issuing a CCTV image of man they would like to identify.

Police constable Josh Hurwood, of Purbeck police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this incident and would like to hear from anyone who may have been in the area of the petrol station around the relevant time and has information to assist our investigation.

“I am issuing a CCTV image of a man I would like to identify and would ask anyone who recognises him to please get in touch.”
