A NUMBER of lamp posts have been damaged by catapults in a road in Alderholt.
Police are investigating the damage to lamp posts in Park Lane, which they believe occurred at around 10.30pm on March 29.
Officers now want to hear from residents who may have information as to who is responsible.
In a Facebook post, East Dorset Police said to Alderholt residents: “Please could you check any ring door bell cameras/CCTV at around the [incident] time.
"I have today carried out both foot and mobile patrols in Alderholt, and the Neighbourhood Policing Team will continue to patrol the area.”
