A PEDESTRIAN was struck by an egg in a drive-by egging.
The person was walking in Alum Chine Road, Westbourne, late on Friday night when a person in a passing car lobbed an egg at them.
The pedestrian reported the incident to the police, which is said to involve a small grey car.
Officers in the area were scrambled to the scene but could not find the culprit.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: “We received a report at 10.25pm on Friday 29 March 2024 that a pedestrian had been struck by an egg that had been thrown out of a passing vehicle in Alum Chine Road in Bournemouth.
“It was reported the vehicle, described as a small grey car, had driven off in the direction of Seamoor Road.
“Officers in the area were made aware but the vehicle was not located.”
Officers reported nobody was injured.
