A CELEBRATION of speed, style and supercars is set to come to Bournemouth town centre.

The inaugural Coastal Speed and Style Supercar Sunday, supported by Bournemouth Town Centre BID, will see Lamborghinis, Ferraris, McLarens and more come to The Triangle.

The event ‘merges sophistication, lifestyle and innovation’ and promises family-friendly entertainment.

It hopes to inspire the younger generation and will have a Children’s Play Zone, live entertainment and diverse food options from nearby restaurants.

The event has partnered with Sporting Bears, a group of car enthusiasts which supports a range of charities.

Bea Sieradzka, director of the event, said: “We are delighted to introduce this unique event to Bournemouth Town Centre.”

“Our aim is to create an immersive experience that celebrates the innovation and style of supercars while providing families with an opportunity to enjoy quality time together.”

Business liaison officer at Bournemouth Town Centre BID, Susie O’Neill, said: “It’s great to have another fresh, new event being staged in Bournemouth to bring visitors in to enjoy not only the supercars and entertainment on offer, but to appreciate the businesses that are already here in our town centre.

“A number of our levy payers have jumped at the chance to get involved with this – especially hospitality venues.”

The event is also working closely with We Do Ethical, pledging to plant trees based on the emissions calculations from the 24 supercars on show.

Bea added: “We are also thrilled to announce that MoreBus are our travel partners to mitigate our carbon footprint.

“By promoting sustainable transport options Coastal Speed and Style is dedicated to ensuring that this event aligns with our principles of environmental responsibility and contributes positively to the local community and ecosystem.”

She extended an invitation to car enthusiasts and families to come to a ‘day of luxury, excitement and entertainment.

“We would like Coastal Speed and Style Supercar Sunday in Bournemouth Town Centre to be an extraordinary event now and in the future and we have included various lifestyle elements to ensure there is something for everyone to enjoy,” Bea said.

“We deliberately selected this central location to make the event easily accessible to a wider audience. Additionally, hosting the event in the town centre allows for a vibrant and bustling atmosphere, enhancing the overall experience for visitors.”

Coastal Speed and Style will take place on Sunday, April 7 at The Triangle and Commercial Road, with free entry.
