A CRASHED car has been 'dumped' outside a public toilet block for days, say business owners.

The crashed Peugeot 206 has been left outside Ashley Cross Green's public toilets for more than a week  with no sign anyone is coming to move it.

The date of which the car first appeared is believed to have been on Sunday, March 10.

Police are believed to have dealt with it due to police tape being left on the car., however, it remains in place several days on. with business owners left wondering what's happening with the vehicle.

Owner of The Golf Shop, Sam, said: "To a point I can understand how difficult it is going to be to remove it. It's not just as if it's got a little puncture or it's got a little dent.

"They're going to have to get a truck, which is going to block the whole road off, but you'd think there would be signage up to say we're going to have to remove this vehicle in a few weeks or a days time because this is a busy old road."

Sam and several other businesses said two men had opened the boot and removed a Just Eat delivery bag from the back of the car.

It is unknown if the driver was a delivery man but James Wilson, owner of Dorset Frames, has said he has seen no other interference with the vehicle.

He said: "I'm pretty sure it happened at the weekend and I've only seen somebody picking up stuff from inside there because it's a Just Eat delivery van guy.

"He picked up a container from inside.  There's been nothing more than that. It doesn't bother me, I can hardly see it with traffic but hopefully it will be sorted soon."

James said it has not affected business but hopes it can be resolved soon.

It is not believed to have crashed into the public toilets but has been left near the block.

The Echo has contacted BCP Council and Dorset Police for further details.
